Unpopular opinion: My gym's free consultation changed how I eat everything
I showed up for a free diet consult at my local Planet Fitness last Tuesday, expecting the same old 'eat less, move more' talk. Instead, the trainer had me write down everything I ate for three days and then showed me I was eating 1,200 calories just in granola bars and coffee creamer. She said, 'You're not overeating, you're under-eating the right stuff.' That one sheet of paper convinced me to swap my morning bars for actual eggs and oatmeal. Now I'm down 8 pounds in 3 weeks without starving myself. Has anyone else had a consult that totally flipped your approach?
