My $400 meal prep service left me with moldy chicken on day 3
Signed up for a 5-day meal prep delivery in Portland last month. Opened the chicken container on day 3 and it had green fuzz growing on it. Has anyone else had issues with these services not lasting past the first couple days?

man I had something similar happen but with a different service. I got those pre-made smoothie packs once and by day 2 the spinach was already slimy and gross. I think the problem is these places don't actually keep things cold enough during delivery or their packaging just isn't meant for more than 24 hours lol. like who's eating chicken thats been sitting in a box for 3 days anyway that's just asking for trouble. I stopped bothering with meal prep services after that and just started cooking big batches on Sundays.

Yeah, that "sitting in a box for 3 days" line got me. Used to defend these services. Not anymore.
