My cousin's old mixtape collection has a song nobody can identify

I found a cassette from 1994 in a box of his stuff and there's this one track with weird synth horns that doesn't show up on Shazam or any forum. Has anyone else inherited a mystery tape that drives them crazy trying to find the source?

Honestly I just read an article about someone finding a bootleg Prince demo in a thrift store cassette, and it took like three years and a Reddit post to confirm it was real. That 1994 synth horn thing could be from a local band that pressed maybe 50 copies, or even a radio station promo that never got cataloged. Tbh it's wild how much music from that era just vanished because it wasn't on a major label. You might have better luck posting the clip on some obscure forums for cassette collectors or even YouTube comments sections, those old heads know their stuff. Ngl it took me a month to ID a track from a burned CD a friend gave me back in 2002 because the band only existed for six months.
