Walked into a gym in Phoenix and saw a guy doing squats on a bosu ball
I stopped by Planet Fitness off the I-17 last Thursday and this dude was on a bosu ball with a barbell on his back. His knees were wobbling like crazy and he almost tipped over twice. I get wanting core stability but isn't that just asking for a trip to urgent care? Has anyone else seen this weird training trend pop up?

Just stick to flat ground squats unless you want a free trip to urgent care with a twisted ankle.

Gentle pushback, @emmajackson, but box jumps actually build up that reactive strength you need for daily life. A twisted ankle usually comes from sloppy landing form, not the jump itself, you know? Start with a low box and focus on soft landings and you'll be fine (plus it's way more fun than flat squats).
