Why does nobody talk about the time I tried to tile my own bathroom floor in Phoenix?

Honestly, I mixed the thin-set mortar way too thick because the bag said 'add water slowly' and I got impatient after 2 minutes. Ngl, the tiles started sliding down the wall overnight and I woke up to a $400 mess of cracked ceramic. Has anyone actually fixed something like this without ripping everything out?

Yeah, chiseling out the bad ones is the way to go... I had to do that after my grout turned a weird color. Just go slow with a flat bar and a hammer, and you can save the rest of the floor.

Oh man, my buddy saved his floor by chiseling out just the bad tiles.
