Update: I finally tried the 'flatten visible layers' trick in Procreate

I always avoided it, thinking it would ruin my workflow, but it cut my export time in half for a 50-layer piece. Anyone know other shortcuts that save time on big files?

So you've been manually merging layers like a peasant this whole time? Welcome to the future, it's nice here. The clipping mask shortcut is another lifesaver, just tap and hold between layers. And grouping layers with a two-finger tap before you move them saves so much headache. Honestly, learning that stuff feels like finding cheat codes for a video game. Why do they hide the good stuff?

Listen @abbyd36, you just blew my mind with that two-finger tap grouping trick! I was out here dragging layers one by one like some kind of digital caveman. The clipping mask shortcut is pure magic, it saves me from so much messy erasing. It really does feel like unlocking secret levels in the app.
