Saw a digital art piece at a gallery in Chicago that made me rethink my entire process
It was a huge interactive wall where the artist's brush strokes changed with the crowd's movement. Now I'm torn between sticking to my controlled style or trying to make art that reacts to the viewer. Has anyone else tried making reactive pieces after seeing something like that?

That sounds like such a cool thing to see! It makes total sense to feel torn. Maybe you could start small by adding just one reactive element to your next piece, like a hidden detail that changes under black light. It doesn't have to be a total switch from your style, just a fun experiment to see how it feels.

Black light paint is super cheap on Amazon, like under ten bucks for a small bottle. I tried adding some to the back of a pendant last year and it was a fun surprise for the buyer. It doesn't show up in normal light so your main style stays the same. Honestly just mixing a tiny bit into your clear glaze could work without changing your process much.
