Rant: I think the push for 4K in every digital art piece is getting silly
Last week, I saw a local gallery in Portland reject a really cool animated short because it was mastered in 1080p, not 4K. Three years ago, I was part of a group show where the most talked-about piece was a pixel art animation that looked amazing on a big screen, resolution be darned. Does anyone else feel like we're focusing on the wrong specs?

Why do we care more about pixels than the art itself?

Oh man, I've been there too. Best advice I can give is to zoom out and squint a little - if it still looks good at normal viewing distance, you're probably overthinking the pixel level details.

The art is the pixels, @lucas_jenkins.
