Pro tip: Use a custom color palette for your online gallery to keep things consistent

I was struggling with my digital art looking all over the place when I posted to my portfolio site. After trying different backgrounds, I settled on a 5-color palette from Coolors.co that I matched to my art style. It took about 30 minutes to set up, but now every piece flows together visually. Has anyone else messed with their gallery's color scheme to improve the showcase?

Actually, Coolors is a lifesaver. I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to match my header color to my art's dominant hue, only to realize my monitor was set to a weird warm filter. Ended up calibrating my screen first and that single change made the whole palette look way cleaner. Visual flow definitely starts with the basics like that.

Actually, "dominant hue" is kind of redundant since hue is the color itself, not a shade of it.
