That's the worst feeling when tech fails at the worst possible time. Bet you had to go full improv mode and just describe what you were going to draw next. Those moments can actually make a stream more real and engaging for the audience, even if it feels like a disaster at the time.

Yeah my buddy's tablet died mid-stream once and he just started doing voice acting for his characters instead. Totally agree with @derekhenderson, it ended up being his most shared clip.
