Spent $400 on a fancy SEO audit tool last month and got totally different results than a free Google tool I used for years
The paid tool said my Detroit bakery site had 47 broken links and terrible keywords, but the free one showed everything fine, so which one do I trust when my budget is already tight, has anyone else run into this kind of conflict?

Funny you say that cause I used to be all about the free tools too. Figured if Google's own stuff said my site was fine, why pay for anything else? Then I ran both on a client's site and the paid tool picked up a bunch of broken links the free one just ignored. Long story short, free tools are good for quick checks, not deep dives. Your bakery's probably fine, but that $400 tool might be showing you stuff you didn't know was there.

Totally had that same thing happen with my own site, free tools just miss so much.
