My go-to trick for cheap local SEO that actually got calls coming in

I wasted $300 on Google ads last quarter with barely any leads. Then I started posting daily in neighborhood Facebook groups with a simple tip about my plumbing service and included a photo of a job I did in Ferndale. Now I get 2-3 calls a week from those posts alone, and they cost me nothing but 10 minutes a day. Anyone else found a free channel that beats paid ads?

Facebook groups work better than anything else I've tried. I post a before and after photo of a groom job I did, throw in a tip about matting or shedding, and people message me same day. No cost besides my time. Google ads just ate my money too. The key is being consistent and not salesy. Just show your work and help people. It builds trust faster than any paid click ever could.

Yeah exactly. I started doing the same thing with local neighborhood groups. Just post a quick tip video like how to brush behind the ears without causing a fight. People eat it up and the messages roll in. Google ads never gave me that kind of return either.
