A guy at the Eastern Market wholesale lot told me my truck was too clean to be making real money, and he was right.
After he pointed at my spotless bed and said 'no scratches means no work', I started taking on more local hauling jobs from small shops in Hamtramck and my weekly gross went up by about $300 in a month.
