A client in Southfield told me my invoices were confusing
I run a small print shop in Royal Oak and for years I just sent basic bills with a total. A regular customer said last month, "I can't tell what I'm paying for on this," and asked for a breakdown. I mean, I thought it was clear, but I added line items for design time, paper cost, and setup fees. Now I send a one page sheet with three clear sections. Has anyone else had a client ask for more detail on simple stuff like this?

Actually, I was just reading about that place in the news last week. They had a big storm come through and flood the whole area. The pictures looked pretty bad, roads washed out and everything. I don't think anyone has been able to get out there since it happened.
