Appreciation post: The 15 minute rule blew my mind for decision making

I used to freeze up on small choices like what to eat for dinner or which shirt to wear. A friend told me about setting a 15 minute timer for any non life or death decision. I tried it last week when I couldn't pick between two job offers at different companies. After 12 minutes I just went with the one that felt less stressful. Has anyone else used a time limit to break out of overthinking?
