Spent 45 minutes trying to get a sticky key unstuck on my keyboard
I spilled a tiny bit of coffee on my keyboard last Tuesday and the 'N' key started sticking. I thought I'd just pop it off and clean it quick, but that little plastic clip broke off and the key wouldn't snap back on. I ended up watching three different YouTube videos and trying tweezers, a paperclip, and even a dab of superglue that made it worse. Finally after 45 minutes I just ordered a replacement key cap set for $8 on Amazon. Has anyone else had a simple spill turn into a whole project like that?

Oh man, 45 minutes is a rookie number for that kind of frustration. I spent a full hour last year trying to pry a melted gummy bear out of my laptop keyboard. Ended up breaking the spacebar clip and had to tape it on for two weeks before I caved and bought a whole new keyboard for $15.

Wait, what did you use to try and get it out? I had a similar thing happen but with a blueberry that got squished into my mouse button. Took me like 30 minutes with a toothpick and some rubbing alcohol but it was all sticky and gross. Then I accidentally got the alcohol on the desk and it messed up the finish a little. Honestly, keyboards and sticky stuff is just a nightmare. I'd rather deal with a slow computer than have to clean off something like that again.
