I'm the only person who thinks iced coffee is way worse than hot coffee
My coworker Jenny said her iced coffee from the shop on 5th street is "refreshing" but I tried a sip and it just tasted like watered down bitterness to me. The ice melts and ruins the flavor in about 10 minutes, so why do people pretend it's better? Has anyone else noticed this or am I just weird?

yeah totally agree, iced coffee is just cold disappointment. the ice waters everything down and you end up with this sad brown water that barely tastes like coffee. i tried ordering it extra strong once and it just gave me a headache and still tasted bad lol

Ngl, I gotta ask - have you actually tried making iced coffee at home with a cold brew method instead of just pouring hot coffee over ice? Because that's a whole different beast. When you cold brew it, the ice doesn't melt into weak coffee water, it's actually concentrated and stays strong even as the ice melts. Or do you just hate the whole concept of cold coffee drinks period, no matter how they're made?
