Had to pick between a used bandsaw and a new planer for my shop

I went with the planer because I needed consistent thickness for hardwood flooring transitions, and now I'm kicking myself every time I try to cut curves with a jigsaw.

Used a bandsaw for curves" lol you mean coping with a jigsaw is a pain, planer was the better call for flooring work.

Read that planers are easier to resell later too, so you did fine.
