I gave up on the phone and tried the chat box instead

My internet was out for two days and the hold music was driving me nuts. On a whim, I opened the online chat while still on hold, and a person answered in under a minute. They had a tech scheduled for the next morning, which the phone rep had told me was impossible. Has anyone else had better luck with the chat than the call center?

Honestly, that chat box win feels like a fluke. Last time my service died, the chat person just sent me the same useless reboot script three times. Phone support at least sounded vaguely human while wasting my afternoon. Maybe you just got the one competent employee who was hiding from the phones.

Check if the chat team has different service quotas than the phone guys.
