I finally got a refund after my flight was canceled, but it took 4 months.

Airline canceled my trip to Denver, said refund would be 7 business days. Had to call them over a dozen times, each rep gave me a different story. Has anyone else had to fight this hard just to get their own money back?

Four months is just crazy, I mean they said seven days. I had to call that many times too once and it just drains you, you know? Every single person you talk to has a different answer and you start to feel like they're just hoping you'll give up. It shouldn't be a whole battle just to get what you're owed.

Yeah when you said they're "hoping you'll give up" that hit home. What finally worked for you? Did you find a specific thing to say or ask for that got you to a person who could actually fix it?
