Hit 500 calls with one company before I finally quit their service

I kept a tally last year of how many times I called my internet provider about the same connection dropping issue. The rep on call 498 actually admitted their equipment in my area was outdated and they had no plans to upgrade. Has anyone else tracked how many calls it took before a company just gave you the real answer?

Did you ever ask to speak to a supervisor or escalation team, or did you just keep getting the same front-line script over and over?
