Am I the only one who had a bank teller argue with me for 20 minutes about my own name?
I went to my local branch in Springfield to fix a direct deposit form, and the teller insisted the name on my ID, Aaron Fisher, didn't match the account because the system showed 'A. Fisher'. She refused to help until a manager stepped in after I asked three times. Has anyone else had a simple fix turn into a pointless fight over something so basic?

That sounds incredibly frustrating and way too common.

Same thing happened to me last spring with my plumbing. Burst pipe flooded half my basement and they called it "gradual deterioration" even though the pipe was only 3 years old. The adjuster spent maybe 5 minutes in my house and wrote up a report that made it sound like I'd been ignoring leaks for years. Ended up paying $4,000 out of pocket because they said the damage was preventable. It's wild how they can just make up whatever fits their narrative.

I used to think people were just complaining until my own insurance claim got denied last year. They said my roof damage was "normal wear and tear" after a major storm. Seeing the adjuster's report ignore the giant tree branch that went through it was a real eye opener. You just don't get how bad it is until you're the one holding the bill.
