Wasted $120 on a 'professional' hair steamer that barely worked

I bought this fancy hair steamer online after seeing all these influencers rave about it for deep conditioning. I used it on three clients last week and it just sputtered warm mist instead of actual steam. One client had to sit under it for 20 minutes and her hair barely felt moisturized after. I tried cleaning it and adjusting the settings but nothing helped. Ended up tossing it in the trash after two days of frustration. Has anyone else gotten burned by one of those cheap steamers from Amazon?

It's funny how we keep falling for this stuff. Everything these days is all hype and no substance, especially online. You'd think these influencers would at least try the product before telling everyone it's the next big thing.
