Warning: I accidentally found a way to get rid of those tiny flyaways on a bob cut that actually works

Okay, "accidentally found a way" is the story of my hair life. I once tried to fix a cowlick with a bit of hand soap and a toothbrush because I was out of product. It worked shockingly well for about an hour, then my hair felt like straw. Why do the weird fixes always have a catch?

I used to believe those weird fixes were just lucky accidents, but your soap story made me realize they're more like bad trades. You get one good hair hour in exchange for a whole day of straw texture. It's like the universe demands payment for breaking the normal rules. I tried the toothpaste trick for a pimple once and same deal, redness gone but my skin felt tight and weird all day. The catch is basically the cost of doing business outside the system.

@rosebennett hit it right on the nose, it's like every cheat code in life comes with a hidden fee you don't see until it's too late. It's the same pattern with those quick fix cleaning hacks, you get the stain out but ruin the fabric.
