Unpopular take: I actually like using a paddle brush for fine hair

Everyone told me to ditch the paddle brush for a boar bristle. Said it would cause breakage. But I have super fine, straight hair and the paddle brush gives me this smooth blowout in half the time. My client Sarah asked for it last Tuesday after I did her sister's hair. Has anyone else found a tool that works against the grain for your hair type?

Wait, you're a hairstylist and you use a paddle brush on fine hair? That's wild to me. I've got fine hair too and everyone shames me for using one, but it just works. Never going back to those tiny round brushes.
