Told my coworker her $40 hot brush was a waste, now I own three

Last month my coworker Jess brought in this Revlon hot air brush and I was SO skeptical. I've been doing hair for 8 years and I thought nothing could beat a round brush and blow dryer combo. She let me try it on a client with super thick hair and I was shocked at how fast it smoothed everything out. I bought one the next day and I've already used it on 12 clients this week. Has anyone else had a tool they swore was gimmicky turn out to be a total game changer?

Hands down the Dyson Airwrap. Thought it was pure hype, now I can't live without it.

I read somewhere that the Dyson Airwrap runs at about 110,000 rpm for that air multiplier effect, which is wild for a hair tool. @the_stella I get what you mean about the hype, my sister bought one last year and she says the same thing. She tried to explain how the curling barrels work with the Coanda air thing and I just nodded along like I understood. Seems like one of those gadgets where you just have to try it yourself to see why people swear by it.
