Threw $150 on that pricey bond-repair shampoo and it ruined my color-treated hair

My stylist recommended it after a platinum balayage last month, and now my roots look brassy and fried... has anyone else had this backfire?

Did you try a quick rinse with diluted apple cider vinegar to fix the brassiness?

Did you happen to use it more than once or twice a week? I read somewhere that those bond-repair things can overload hair if you overdo it.
