That foiling hack everyone says is a gimmick? It actually saved me 20 minutes per client.

I was skeptical about the triangle section method for highlights. My mentor always said to stick with the classic weave, so I never bothered. Finally tried it on a busy Saturday after back to back bleach touch ups. I halved my sectioning time and still got even coverage on a full head of foils. Has anyone else given it a shot or am I late to the party?

Wait, are we talking about the triangle section method where you use actual triangles instead of standard weaves? I tried it once and ended up with these weird patchy gaps in my highlights that took forever to fix with backcombing. Maybe it works for some hair types but on fine hair it just looks like a hot mess.

Did you try cutting your triangles at a sharper angle so the base is narrower on fine hair?
