Spent $150 on professional shears off a sketchy website, biggest haircut disaster of my life.

They arrived duller than my kitchen scissors, snagged through wet hair like a rusty hedge trimmer, and the screw fell out after two cuts - has anyone else fallen for an online shear scam that looked too good to be true?

Man that really stinks, I've been burned by cheap tools online too and it's such a waste of money. Hope you can get a refund somehow.

I used to be one of those people who would buy the absolute cheapest version of anything just to save a buck. Figured tools were tools, you know? But after getting burned on a cordless drill that literally smoked after one use, and a set of sockets that rounded off more bolts than they turned, I completely flipped. Now I'd rather spend a little more upfront to get something that actually holds up instead of buying the same junk twice. It's frustrating to learn that lesson the hard way, but sometimes you just have to live through it to really get it. Quality matters way more than I ever gave it credit for.
