Showerthought: I just counted and I've done 500 balayage appointments this year
That number hit me when I was ordering more lightener, and it made me realize how much the technique has taken over my book. Anyone else seeing a specific service dominate their schedule lately?

Hold up, I gotta gently correct you. Tessa said "huge number" is not even close, but 500 balayage appointments in a year is actually a LOT for ONE stylist if you're doing them yourself. That's like 10 a week if you take zero days off. Most stylists I know do maybe 3 to 5 balayages a week because it takes so long, so 500 means you're basically booking nothing BUT balayage. My schedule is definitely dominated by lived-in color and babylights, it's like everyone wants that natural sunkissed look without the stripey lines. But yeah, that number is legit impressive and not small at all.
