I mean, the number of clients who ask for 'just a trim' and then show me a photo of someone with 8 inches off is honestly wild.

and honestly it's such a relief to see someone else say it out loud 😭 like @davis.dakota said, that disconnect is seriously the worst. i've had clients hand me a picture of a bob and swear it's "just a trim" and i'm like girl that's a whole cut lmao. it makes me wonder if people even look at their own hair before they sit down sometimes. the number of times i've had to explain that "just a trim" means taking off like half an inch max is honestly exhausting.
