I just hit 500 balayage clients in my book
I counted them up last night and it was 503, which is wild because I only started offering it three years ago. The big thing for me was seeing how many of them are repeats who come back every 10 weeks like clockwork. It showed me that nailing the consultation and setting clear upkeep expectations is what keeps people coming back. Has anyone else tracked a specific service and been surprised by the number?

Wow, that's an amazing number to hit in just three years. I tried tracking how many times I've successfully assembled IKEA furniture without leftover screws, and let's just say my numbers are not as impressive. Seriously though, that repeat business really proves you're doing it right. Getting people to come back that often means they completely trust your work. It must feel great to see that kind of result from doing the job well.

My buddy runs a small bike repair shop in Austin. He told me last week that over 60% of his work now is just people coming back for tune-ups or bringing him their family's bikes. He said seeing the same names in his book over and over is the only review that actually matters to him. It's a quiet kind of success that doesn't show up on social media. That trust is what keeps his doors open.

I used to think repeat business was just luck, but "they completely trust your work" really nails why it matters.
