Heard a client say her last stylist rushed her roots, now I'm rethinking my booking times

I was doing a full highlight on a new client last Tuesday and she mentioned her old salon always rushed her through the root touch-up, like 25 minutes total and she felt like she was in a race. That got me thinking about my own scheduling. I usually book 45 minutes for a root touch up but after hearing that, I bumped it to an hour. No one has complained about the extra time yet, and honestly my work feels cleaner. Has anyone else adjusted their service times after a client said something offhand? How do you balance not rushing against fitting in more clients?

My friend got rushed once, cried in the car, now she takes her sweet time and clients love it.
