Color processing minutes dragging on? Here's my little trick.

When I have to wait for a gloss or toner to set (honestly, it feels like hours), I quickly restock my trolley with fresh foils and gloves. It keeps me busy and my station stays tidy for the next person.

Spot those tiny waiting moments everywhere, I mean. Like when your microwave is going or you're stuck on hold. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I started wiping down the kitchen while my coffee brews. It turns dead time into something useful, same as restocking foils during a gloss set. Makes the whole day feel less rushed somehow.

My buddy Mark used to just stare at his coffee maker like it was buffering. Then he started unloading the dishwasher while it gurgled, or wiping one counter. He said it’s wild how those two minutes changed his whole morning from frantic to weirdly calm. Now he even folds a towel while his toast pops up.

Is this the new life hack or are we all just desperate to not stare at the microwave? My brain would short circuit trying to remember what I was supposed to do in those two minutes.
