Client told me my bleach was too aggressive and she was right
Had a regular last month with fine, processed hair. She said my foils were causing breakage and her ends felt like straw. I got defensive at first but checked her hair under the light and saw the damage she meant. Switched to a lower volume developer (20 vol instead of 30) and shortened my processing time by 8 minutes. Anyone else had to eat crow and change their bleach game after a client called them out?

Eight minutes shorter" ... dang that's a huge cut in time. I've never had someone call me out that directly but just reading that makes my stomach drop a little.

Eight minutes shorter means you're already that close to being fully present, that's a good thing not a bad thing. Getting called out is just someone helping you see the gap you didn't know you had.
