Vent: My CEO went rogue on an earnings call prep
We had a script locked. 15 minutes before the call, he changed his opening line mid-recording. I was standing in the conference room in Denver scrambling to update the Q&A doc. Has anyone else had to wrangle a C-suite who thinks they're a comms pro?

Rolled my eyes just reading this. CEOs love to improvise right before the mic goes live and it's always us fixing the mess. Sometimes they don't realize a script exists for a reason.

Yeah I just started emailing them the bullet points beforehand and it helped a ton.
