That Monday where 3 execs all needed crisis statements by noon
Last month I had the CEO, CFO, and head of HR each want separate internal memos drafted for a restructuring rumor that leaked to the press. Ended up writing three different versions in 4 hours and the CFO changed her tone twice after lunch. Anyone else deal with execs who can't agree on messaging when shit hits the fan?

Moved the CEO to email approval and just sent the same core message to all three.

Three days in with this setup and our open rates actually went up by 12%. The CEO stopped trying to rewrite every line and just signed off, which cut the approval cycle in half. Sometimes taking the biggest voice out of the room helps the message land better.
