Serious question, how long does it take you to get a press release signed off?

I had one about a simple product update that needed approval from legal, marketing, and the product lead. It took 11 days and 23 email threads to get the final okay. What's a normal turnaround time at your place?

That's brutal, but honestly not that unusual. Have you tried setting a hard deadline in the initial email?

Deadlines just make people ignore you faster. I've had way more luck being flexible and following up.
