Rant: Our CEO's Livestream Kept Cutting to a Cat Filter for 14 Minutes
Last Tuesday we had a company-wide town hall via Teams, and our CEO accidentally enabled a kitten face filter that nobody could disable. The tech team spent 14 minutes trying to fix it while he kept answering questions about layoffs with whiskers and pink ears. The chat went wild with screenshots, and someone turned them into a meme deck by Friday. My boss made me write a follow-up email apologizing for the 'technical disruption' without mentioning the cat. It took 3 drafts to get the tone right because everyone was still laughing. Has anyone else had a leadership livestream disaster like this, or was ours uniquely cursed?
