Coolant pump quit on my VF-2 at 2am and I nursed it through the last 40 parts
Ran a night batch of 4140 brackets on the VF-2 in my shop outside Tulsa and around 2am Wednesday the coolant pump started whining then just died mid cut. I pulled the pump, found the impeller cracked, swapped in the spare from the shelf and kept going, but I lost maybe 25 minutes and one roughing insert. Honestly I used to think a spare pump was a waste of 300 bucks, so what spares do you all keep on the shelf that actually saved a run for you?
