Watched a guy strip the tiny screws on a Leica M3 top plate yesterday...

He was using a cheap driver that didn't fit right. I keep a set of JIS drivers for old Japanese cameras, and it's saved me a bunch of headaches. Anyone else have a go-to tool for a specific brand?

Oh man, watching someone strip screws is the worst. I mean, that JIS driver tip is a lifesaver for sure. I had a similar panic with an old Pentax, tried a regular Phillips and it just started to chew up the metal. Now I keep those drivers in a little pouch with my camera stuff, it feels like a secret weapon.

Grabbed a set of those JIS drivers after ruining a screw on my old Nikon... now I won't touch a camera without them.
