Thought ultrasonic cleaning was overkill for old lens elements until a repair tech in Denver showed me a 1968 Nikon with fungus I could see from across the bench
I spent 3 years telling customers that hand cleaning with a microfiber and solution was just as good, but after watching him pull a whole spore bloom out of a rear group in 6 minutes without touching the coating, I bought a unit the next morning and I'm curious if anyone here has a go-to temp and time for cemented doublets.
