Switched from canned air to a good blower for sensor cleaning
I used to always use those canned air duster cans for cleaning mirror boxes and sensors. But last month I bought a Giottos rocket blower and I'm never going back. The canned air left residue sometimes and I wasted so much money on new cans. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference?

Six bucks for that little rubber bulb and I felt like a genius for not figuring it out sooner. Canned air always left me wondering if I was just blasting dust deeper into the camera. Now I just squeeze and go, no residue, no guilt.

A buddy of mine @diana_moore75 was using canned air on his sensor and it left this weird misty film. Took him forever to clean it off. Switched to one of these bulbs after that and he said it was night and day, never going back.

The Giottos rocket blower is the real deal. Canned air always felt like a gamble, especially with that cold liquid that can shoot out if you tilt the can wrong. I had a can leave a weird residue once and spent an hour with sensor swabs fixing it. The blower just pushes everything out clean with no chemicals involved. One tip though, make sure you get the large size one, not the tiny travel version. The big one moves more air in one squeeze and does a way better job on stubborn dust.
