Swapped from a blower brush to a rubber bulb for sensor cleaning - night and day difference
Last month I was using a blower brush on a Nikon D750 sensor and it just pushed dust around. The rubber bulb got everything off in two puffs with zero streaks. Has anyone else found a random tool that just works better than the standard stuff?

Hell yeah. That rubber bulb is one of those things where you realize the industry overcomplicated something that should be dead simple.
I've noticed the same pattern with a bunch of stuff. It's like people get sold on the fancy tool with the brand name and the long manual, but the real trick is just using something that already works in a different context. Like using a flathead screwdriver to open a paint can instead of buying the special paint can opener. Or using WD-40 to clean permanent marker off a whiteboard. The standard stuff is often just marketing dressed up.
You think about it, half the time the "right" tool is just the one someone decided to sell for twenty bucks more than the thing you already have in your junk drawer. Glad you found the bulb, man. That's a win.
