Honestly, cleaning the mirror box on a 20 year old SLR made the viewfinder go from cloudy to crystal clear
I had a Nikon F5 come in with a really dim finder, thought the prism was bad. Took a cotton swab with some lens cleaner to the mirror chamber and the difference was night and day. Anyone else find that's usually the first place to check before you start pulling prisms?
