Camera strap screws kept loosening on me at a wedding shoot last month
I was shooting a wedding in Portland when I noticed my camera strap kept slipping. Tightening them with a tiny drop of blue Loctite fixed it solid. Anyone else deal with this?

Hmm, I actually disagree with the Loctite fix. I've had camera strap screws loosen on me too, but putting thread locker on them (even blue stuff) is asking for trouble down the road. What if you need to swap the strap rings or the camera body out quickly? That little drop can make unscrewing a nightmare, especially if someone overdoes it (like a lot of people do). I just tighten mine by hand every few shots at weddings, or I use a neoprene washer under the screw head. That gives just enough grip to stop the slipping without making it permanent.

Yeah, that bit about "unscrewing becoming a nightmare" really hit me. I used to think blue Loctite was the safe middle ground, but you're right, even a tiny bit can gum things up way more than people expect. I've seen it happen on a buddy's camera where the screw was basically glued in place after a few months. The neoprene washer idea is smart too, I never thought of that, and it sounds way easier than fussing with chemicals. Honestly, you've convinced me to just stick with the hand-tightening method and stop overcomplicating it.
