A guy handed me a water damaged Nikon F3 in Tucson and told me his dad shot the moon landing with it
The shutter was frozen and the mirror box was a mess, but the tag inside said it was serviced at a shop in Rochester in 1971, so he wasn't making it up. Anyone here ever get a repair request with a real story behind the camera, and does it change how careful you are with the job?
