That one guy at the networking event who told me to fire my biggest client

Met this older consultant at a Chamber of Commerce mixer last month, he said my top client was actually holding me back because they paid too slowly and demanded too much handholding. He was right, I dropped them and my stress went way down but revenue dipped 30% - anyone else ever take advice from a stranger that actually worked out?

And now you can spend those 30 hours chasing 30% more stress, right?

Wait, did the guy give you any advice on what to do with the extra time you freed up? I feel like that's the real hack - if you're not using those hours to land a better client or improve your actual business model, the dip might just be a setback instead of a setup.
