So I was at a trade show in Phoenix and a guy tried to sell me 'growth crystals' for my office.

He was dead serious, which made me realize I needed to get way better at spotting nonsense pitches (and fast). Anyone else run into something that wild while trying to grow their thing?

Oh man, that's a classic. I swear, trade shows are a magnet for that kind of thing. It really does make you sharpen up your "no thanks" radar on the spot.

Honestly, I gotta push back a little on calling them "growth crystals." That sounds way too fancy for what those guys are actually pushing. I've seen similar stuff at a few home shows and it's usually just generic quartz or calcite they bought in bulk and slapped a "wealth attractor" label on for ten times the price. They're literally just rocks from a gravel supplier with a story about "chi alignment" glued on. Ngl, the whole thing feels like a repackaged pyramid scheme but for your bookshelf.

Growth crystals sound like a new low.
