Shoutout to the guy at the Denver Chamber of Commerce mixer

I was complaining about slow Q3 sales at that networking event last week, and some guy told me to start offering a 14-day free trial instead of a demo. First two signups came in within 48 hours... has anyone else had luck ditching demos for trials?

The guy at the Denver Chamber mixer who gave you that advice might have saved your quarter. I switched from demos to a 14-day trial last spring for my consulting tool and saw a 40% jump in signups that first month. Yeah, you get some tire-kickers, but the ones who convert are usually way more committed since they already know your product works. Have you found the trial leads are easier to close than demo leads were?

Respectfully, free trials can work but they attract a lot of tire-kickers who waste your time. Demos at least filter for real buyers in my experience.
